2011 Sales as a Percent of Listings

This Graph Represents the Percentage of Homes Sold in Utah County (2011)

This graph is very important.  It is the heartbeat of what is going on in the market.  2011 has been stronger than 2009 and 2010.  The percentage of homes selling is at a 5 year high.  This is proof our market if improving.  Our team was very excited to see this new graph uptick in August.  About 15% of the homes in Utah County sold that month.  It is a very real possibility that we have reached the bottom in 2010.  This is one of the reasons I personally bought two rentals this year.  Hey, I am putting my money where my mouth is.  This graph shows the percentage of homes that are actually selling and closing compared to the amount of listings in the market.  Click Here if you would like to see more current statistical information about the Utah County Real Estate Market.
