The average household size was 3.41 and the average family size was 3.76.

The median age was 25 years. The heavily weighted 18 to 24 year old demographic is largely due to the city slowly attracting students and graduates from the local Brigham Young University, located nearby in Provo, Utah. For every 100 females there are 98.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.9 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $46,472, and the median income for a family was $48,845. Males had a median income of $37,942 versus $26,098 for females. The per capita income for the city was $15,634.
